Define Value Bucket Model

Use the Value Bucket Model to be able to prioritize your work for value. The model is defined by Product Owners together with Management based on your KPI's.

Creating value model is done in 3 steps: set, normalize and weigh your value parameters.

Your custom ideation workflow lets you define ideas, have your organization vote on them and convert to Features for all the involved teams

Ideation uses a 11 step discovery flow with persona's, problem definition, impact analysis, value statement, hypothesis, expected outcome, metrics, mission or goal alignment, evidence, intert and expected size of work. Each of these factor can be used to prepare your work and lets you work on the right ideas in tune with your Stakeholders.

Create Feature Backlog

Within a value group (or department) teams work together and share their Feature Backlog. It shows all the Features, the teams working on them, what the team dependencies are, their value, effort and priority in a single overview.

Before working on a Feature it should be approved by all necessary teams so everybody is on board.

Execute delivery

Execution is often done with Stories through Sprints (Scrum) using a Kanban board.

Taskstreamer offers you a Story Backlog linked to the Epic Backlog so you know what to refine first. Each team can set its own Sprint cadence and run Sprints using their own Kanban board. Taskstreamer keeps track of your velocity and calculates your expected number of Story Points per Sprint through our prediction engine.

No worries, you can synchronize the Features, Stories and Tasks with Jira, so you could keep your sprints and board in Jira and use Taskstreamer for Strategy and Team alignment. Or sync to Taskstreamer once and continue there .

Each time you have new information on progress of Features you can update it through a simple form. Just set the state and with each state a number of additional options appear.

Whenever a team is faster (or slower) than expected, new value is discovered, dependencies or strategies change, our algorithm calculates the new optimal sequence in which to do things. Every team can be updated for their next sprint to achieve maximum value.
